Birthplace: Brazil

Currently, I am a master's student at the Institute of Biomedical Sciences (ICB II), affiliated with the Department of Microbiology at the University of São Paulo (USP). My area of focus lies in investigating the pathogenicity of the measles virus within the context of neuroinfections. Throughout my academic journey, I have gained extensive experience across various research fields and laboratory techniques. Particularly, my involvement in viral and cellular cultivation has been pivotal, encompassing the cultivation of Induced Pluripotent Stem Cells (iPSC) and their subsequent differentiation into Neural Progenitor Cells (NPC), neurons, and astrocytes. Furthermore, I have developed proficiency in conventional and quantitative PCR techniques, as well as in immunofluorescence methods. The capacity for data analysis, statistical interpretation, and project management also constitutes a part of my skill set. I have completed two Supervised Teaching Internships, which have enhanced my comprehensive understanding of the educational process.I hold a Bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences from the State University of Paraná - Campus Paranaguá (UNESPAR). During my undergraduate years, I served as a research fellow at the Microorganism Genetics and Microbiology Laboratory at UNESPAR, contributing to research projects from 2016 to 2019 through the Scientific Initiation Program (PIC).
