Agronomist from the Dom Bosco Catholic University (UCDB), with a master's and doctorate in Entomology from the Luiz de Queiroz College of Agriculture (USP/ESALQ). During his undergraduate studies, he developed projects focused on the selection of tropical forage plants resistant to insect pests and the population dynamics of pests. In postgraduate studies, he worked in the area of insect resistance to insecticides, developing projects focused on understanding the problem and obtaining solutions for the management of pest resistance to insecticides through genetic and molecular approaches. He is currently a post-doctoral researcher at the Centre for Carbon Studies in Tropical Agriculture (CCARBON) at USP/ESALQ. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
