Gustavo Henrique Leite de Castro

PhD in Economics from the School of Economics, Business and Accounting at the University of São Paulo (FEA-USP), with a Master's degree in Regional Economics from the State University of Londrina (UEL) and a Bachelor's degree in Economics from the State University of Northern Paraná (UENP). Holds an MBA in Finance and Controllership from USP/ESALQ.Currently a postdoctoral researcher at FEA-USP and a member of the Regional and Urban Economics Research Group at USP (NEREUS). Previously taught in graduate programs (lato sensu) in Business Economics at UEL and at the University Center of Ourinhos (UniFio), and served as an advisor for the MBA programs in Finance and Controllership and in Data Science and Analytics at USP/ESALQ.Develops research and applications in the fields of Regional and Urban Economics, Public Policy Evaluation, Econometrics, Spatial Econometrics, Finance, Time Series, and Machine Learning. Has experience in economic and financial modeling, causal inference, and the analysis of large-scale datasets.Has also worked on financial modeling for Public-Private Partnership (PPP) projects, collaborating with public and private stakeholders in the design of strategies for economic and financial rebalancing.
