PhD and Master of Science in the area of #8203;#8203;Pharmaceuticals, Medicines, and Health Supplies from the Pharmaceutical Sciences (FCF/UNICAMP) and Biosciences and Technology of Bioactive Products (IB/UNICAMP) programs. Graduated in Microbiology from the University of Pamplona, #8203;#8203;Colombia. His research involves applied microbiology and phytochemistry of plants, focusing on biological, pharmacological, and toxicological activities in vitro and in silico. He also has experience in the development of bioinputs for the biological control of agronomic pests and diseases and in seed care. Currently, he works at the Laboratory of Pathology and Microbial Control (LPCM) at the Luiz de Queiroz College of Agriculture - ESALQ/USP in the SPARCBio project (São Paulo Advanced Research Center for Biological Control). He developed projects at the Department of Plant Physiology at IB/UNICAMP, evaluating the biological effect of LED lighting in antitumor and antimicrobial photodynamic therapy (aPDT) with natural molecules from plants and microorganisms. In addition, he works in molecular biology, agro bioinputs, plant biotechnology (plant cell and tissue culture), and computational biology, with an emphasis on molecular modeling and docking. Throughout his academic career, he participated as a student representative in the Postgraduate Committee of PPG-BTPB/IB and PPG-CF/FCF. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
