Ygor Gabriel Pontieri Osti

Bachelor's degree in Biotechnology from UFSCar, with experience in expression and purification of recombinant proteins for enzymatic assays and screening of antiviral drugs, acquired during the period from 2020 to 2023 at the Institute of Physics of São Carlos (IFSC). Subsequently, worked at Embrapa Instrumentation between 2023 and 2024, focusing efforts on microbiology, particularly in the search for natural inhibitors against post-harvest fungi. During this period, actively participated in the selection and evaluation of natural compounds with fungicidal potential, aiming at the development of sustainable alternatives for post-harvest disease control in agricultural products. With consolidated skills in molecular biology, expression of recombinant proteins, and microbiology, seeks to contribute to significant advancements in the fields of biotechnology, biomaterials, human and environmental health, both in academia and in the productive sector.
