Abstract
Cnidarians are a widely distributed marine phylum that plays essential roles in ocean ecosystems. They are divided into three subphyla: Anthozoa, Endocnidozoa, and Medusozoa, with Anthozoa being the most diverse, comprising approximately 7,200 described species.
