Bachelor's degree in Agronomy from the Federal Institute of Goiás - Urutaí campus (2014). Master's degree in Tropical and Subtropical Agriculture with a concentration in Plant Genetics and Breeding from the Agronomic Institute of Campinas - IAC (2020). PhD in Genetics and Molecular Biology from the University of Campinas. Has experience in the following areas: grapevine cultivation, cultivar fingerprinting, molecular markers, population genetics, genetic diversity, genetic structure, marker-assisted selection (MAS), conservation and use of genetic resources, genome-wide association studies (GWAS), transcriptomics, and co-expression networks. Additionally, served as a visiting researcher at the Fondazione Edmund Mach (Italy) under the supervision of Dr. Silvia Vezzuli, where he conducted research focused on the genetic mapping of new QTLs for grapevine downy mildew resistance, as well as the practical application of marker-assisted selection in grapevine breeding.
