PhD student at the Federal University of São Paulo (UNIFESP), Oceanographer and Master in Tropical Marine Sciences at the Federal University of Ceará (UFC) with research focused on microplastics and climate change in reef environments. In academia, she took part in the Tutorial Education Program (PET), working in research, organizing events and environmental education; she also began participating in the Verdeluz Institute in the development of an Environmental Seal to reduce plastic use in restaurants near the beach. In 2019 she took part in the Coral Vivo Project through the Extension Program (PROEX), working on research and environmental education at the Coral Vivo headquarters located in Arraial d'Ajuda in the south of Bahia. In 2022, she had the experience of embarking on a transatlantic voyage to collect water, sediment and biota for the analysis of microplastics in these compartments. She was a member of the Verdeluz Institute, serving as a member of the Management Board of the Pedra da Risca do Meio Marine State Park (PEMPRIM) and has worked as a consultant on microplastic analysis in coastal marine waters.
