Polliana Fontoura Guilherme de Souza

Graduated in Oceanography from the Federal University of Pernambuco (2022). She was part of the Laboratory of Ecology and Management of Coastal and Estuarine Ecosystems - LEGECE during her undergraduate studies, working in Chemical Oceanography, studying Water Quality. She was part of the team at the Marine Studies Center run by the Environment Department of Jaboatão dos Guararapes City Hall (2018-2019), carrying out monitoring activities. She co-founded the extension project (UFPE) Educaocean, where she developed environmental education activities (2017-2018). She was project director at the NGO Oceano à vista, coordinating activities to raise awareness and disseminate Oceanogafia (2016-2017). She currently works as a technician at CEBIMar - USP developing activities related to monitoring and long-term studies on the conservation of marine ecosystems on the north coast of São Paulo and adaptive management at NGI Alcatrazes. Her current area of interest is the ecology, biogeography and conservation of reef ecosystems. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
