Graduated in Bachelor of Biological Sciences from the Faculty of Philosophy, Sciences and Letters of Ribeirão Preto (FFCLRP) of the University of São Paulo (USP). He is a member of the Laboratory of Bioecology and Systematics of Crustaceans (LBSC) at FFCLRP/USP, a laboratory in which he worked as a Scientific Initiation student, having being granted with a scholarship from the Institutional Program for Scientific and Technological Initiation Scholarships (PIBIC), funded by the National Council of Scientific and Technological Development (CNPq), between the years 2019 and 2021, and where he is currently developing his doctorate through the Postgraduate Program in Comparative Biology at FFCLRP/USP. Currently, he is granted by the Academic Excellence Program (PROEX) of the Coordination for the Improvement of Higher Education Personnel (CAPES). At LBSC, under the guidance of Professor Doctor Fernando L. Mantelatto (FFCLRP/USP), he developed his Monograph in General Biology, which is entitled Morphological and molecular study of the crab Panopeus occidentalis de Saussure, 1857 (Decapoda: Brachyura), work defended and approved by the examining board in December 2021. His research involves especially morphology and taxonomy of decapod crustaceans. At present, his focus is on the study of aeglids (Decapoda: Anomura), investigating the taxonomy, the systematics and the biogeography of the group through the integration of morphological and molecular data.
