Graduated in Nutrition from the Federal University of Pelotas (UFPel) in 2016. Holds specializations in Chronic Non-Communicable Diseases, Food and Nutrition Management, as well as Clinical Nutrition, Metabolism, Practice, and Nutritional Therapy. Earned a Master's degree in Nutrition and Food from the Postgraduate Program in Nutrition and Food at UFPel in 2019. Completed a PhD in the same program at UFPel in 2024. During my undergraduate studies, I actively participated in projects and lectures to expand my knowledge on topics related to my field. My undergraduate thesis focused on experimental nutrition with an emphasis on antioxidants. During my master's degree, I worked on alleles associated with celiac disease in individuals with autoimmune thyroid diseases, conducting genetic testing. In my PhD, I applied treatments with different types of diets to evaluate and thoroughly analyze genetic metabolism with the aim of discovering new dietary treatments.During the PhD, I completed a research stay as part of a sandwich PhD program in Berlin, Germany, at the Max Delbrück Center. This experience provided immersion in a cutting-edge research environment, enhancing my skills in scientific analysis and international collaboration, and significantly contributing to the advancement of my thesis and the project on the reversibility of renal vascular hypertrophy in animals treated with captopril.
