Universidade de São Paulo (USP). Centro de Energia Nuclear na Agricultura (CENA)  (Institutional affiliation from the last research proposal)
Birthplace: Brazil

Agronomist graduated from the Federal University of Viçosa, with experience in Entomology and Sustainable Agriculture. My academic journey includes research in beekeeping and stingless beekeeping, insect physiology and neurobiology, and ecotoxicology, with an emphasis on assessing the impacts of pesticides on non-target organisms. In addition, I had entrepreneurial experiences between 2019 and 2023, holding leadership positions at the Entomology Junior Enterprise (Project Director and President) and at the startup SmartBugs (co-founder). I am currently a Ph.D. student at the Center for Nuclear Energy in Agriculture of the University of São Paulo (CENA/USP), where I investigate the traceability and quality of Brazilian honey through advanced analytical techniques. My work also focuses on understanding pesticide transfer at the colony level, using radiometric approaches to assess the risks of chronic exposure to these compounds. I seek to integrate science, innovation, and sustainability, contributing to the development of more efficient and environmentally responsible agricultural systems that reconcile productivity with pollinator conservation and ecosystem health.
