He holds a Bachelor's degree (2017), a Master's degree (2019), and a Ph.D. (2023) in Physics from the Federal University of Ceará (UFC). His doctoral dissertation, Aspects of Topological Structures in Lower Dimensions, was awarded Best Thesis by the UFC Graduate Program in Physics (2024) and received an Honorable Mention in the CAPES Thesis Award (2024). He completed postdoctoral research at the Federal University of Maranhão (FAPEMA, 2023-2024) and at UFC (CNPq, 2024-2025). Currently, he is a postdoctoral researcher at the Center for Mathematics, Computing and Cognition at the Federal University of ABC (FAPESP). His research interests include topological defects in lower-dimensional and extra-dimensional scenarios, quantum fluctuations in gravitational contexts, foundations of quantum information theory, and fundamental principles of quantum mechanics. The general area of this project is Quantum Field Theory on non-trivial backgrounds with special emphasis on quantum anomalies and Casimir effect in Dirac materials, and on low-dimensional holography. It is assumed that the candidate will dedicate certain fraction of time to the study of other topics of the parent Thematic Project or in closely related areas of his or her choice.
