FAPESP-funded researcher in a Scientific Initiation project focused on analyzing the transformations in labor relations within the São Paulo sugarcane agroindustry, based on the institutional economics theory of John R. Commons. Member of the Group of Research in Original Institutional Economics (EIO), which focuses on the reinterpretation and updating of John R. Commons' theoretical contributions, aiming to apply his concepts to the analysis of contemporary capitalist society. His main academic interests include Institutional Economics, Economic History, Economic Development, Agrarian Economics, Public Policies, History of Labor Relations, and Institutional Transformations.
