Rafaela Beatriz Silva Luz

I am a student of the Bachelor's Degree in Science and Technology at Ilum - School of Science - CNPEM (2024-). I am currently participating in the research initiation project "In silico methods for the characterization of molecules of biotechnological interest" under the supervision of Dr. Mariana Abrahão Bueno de Morais in the computational biocatalysis group at LNBR CNPEM (March 14, 2025 June 27, 2025). I presented the poster "Application of molecular modeling and docking to assess the importance of non-catalytic polar residues in the active site of a glycoside hydrolase" at the 2024 CNPEM Student Congress (December 5, 2024). Additionally, I have completed internships in the computational biocatalysis (2024) and integrated omics (20242025) groups at LNBR. I voluntarily participated in the organizing teams of Ciência Aberta 2024 (LNBR CNPEM) (August 10, 2024). I have completed internship programs in the computational biocatalysis group (2024) and the integrated omics group (2024-2025) at LNBR. I graduated from the Integrated Technical Course in Building Construction at IFMG - Santa Luzia Campus (2021-2023). I was a Junior Scientific Initiation Scholar, funded by IFMG, in the project 'Investigating possibilities and potentials of integration between contents and subjects in the integrated technical course in building construction at IFMG - Santa Luzia Campus.' at the Integrated Laboratory of Educational Practices (LAPES) at IFMG - Santa Luzia Campus (2021-2022). I presented a work at the 11th FEBRAT, titled 'Exploring possibilities in interdisciplinarity: A case study in the integrated technical course in building construction at IFMG - Santa Luzia Campus' (2023), based on the Scientific Initiation at LAPES.
