Biologist with a Ph.D. in Climate and Environment from INPA (National Institute of Amazonian Research), including a sandwich doctorate at the Max Planck Institute for Biogeochemistry. She holds a Master's degree in Plant Biodiversity and Environment from the Botany Institute of São Paulo. She has extensive experience in Ecology and Biogeochemistry, emphasizing gas fluxes (Biogenic Volatile Organic Compounds) from soil and litter, as well as the physical and chemical characteristics of soil and litter and microbial biomass, primarily in Central Amazonia.In addition to her research, she has worked as a Biology teacher in subjects such as Community Ecology, Topics in Biology, and Environmental Education.
