Bachelor of Biological Sciences from the Federal University of Ouro Preto (UFOP), with a thesis titled Meristic variation in two species of snakes from the family Dipsadidae, genus Erythrolamprus: E. maryellenae (Dixon, 1985) and E. jaegeri (Günther, 1858). Could this be a case of hybridization? During the undergraduate program, participated in the Vertebrate Zoology Laboratory as a Scientific Initiation student, focusing on the taxonomy and biogeography of Erythrolamprus snakes from the Iron Quadrangle. Also worked as a teaching assistant for the Vertebrate Zoology course and was a scholarship holder in the extension project Zoology Tent.Currently a Masters student in the Graduate Program in Ecology, Evolution and Biodiversity at the Institute of Biosciences of Rio Claro, São Paulo State University (IB/UNESP), conducting research on adaptations of the extra-cutaneous pigment system to climate change in Squamata.
