Psychiatrist and Psychoanalyst, Master and PhD in Social Psychology from the Institute of Psychology of the University of São Paulo (1989 and 1992), Postdoctoral in Medical Ethics by the School of Medicine of the University of São Paulo (1996). He is currently an Associate Professor at FMUSP, coordinator of CEARAS (Center for Studies and Care Related to Sexual Abuse). Responsible for the disciplines of Bioethics and Clinical Bioethics at FMUSP and Bioethics Health and Justice. President of the São Paulo Academy of Medicine (1995-96) and President of the FMUSP HC Bioethics Commission (2003-16). Member of the Technical Chamber of Psychiatry at CREMESP. He has published several national and international books and scientific papers on bioethics and mental health. Received two Jabuti awards for the book Bioethics (EDUSP) as an organizer and for the book Clinic Psychiatry (Manole) as a collaborator. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
