Letícia Palombo Martinelli

Bachelor of Physical and Biomolecular Sciences from the São Carlos Institute of Physics (IFSC), University of São Paulo (USP) in 2017. She did two Scientific Initiations at the São Carlos Institute of Chemistry (IQSC) in the areas of Medicinal Chemistry and Photodynamic Therapy, respectively. She has a Master's Degree in Biotechnology from the Postgraduate Program in Biotechnology (PPG-Biotec), at the Federal University of São Carlos (UFSCar). PhD in Sciences from IFSC, University of São Paulo (USP). She completed a sandwich doctorate at the University Health Network (UHN) in Toronto, Canada for 6 months, with CAPES/PRINT 2023 grant. She has experience in the treatment of cutaneous melanoma skin cancer, in an animal model, using photodynamic and photothermal therapy. Treasurer of the USP-SC SPIE Student Chapter 2023-2024.
