He holds a degree in Physics (2011) from the Federal University of Goiás (UFG), a Master's degree (2015) and a PhD (2023) from the Postgraduate Program in Science and Mathematics Education at UFG. He has experience in basic education, where he worked as a Physics teacher in schools of the State Secretariat of Education of Goiás from 2019 to 2024, and in private higher education, as a teacher of Basic Physics subjects in the Civil Engineering and Production Engineering courses from 2016 to 2024. He is currently a professor at the Gleb Wataghin Physics Institute of the State University of Campinas (UNICAMP), in the area of #8203;#8203;Physics Teaching. He has experience in research in Science Education, with an emphasis on Physics Teaching, working mainly with the following themes: STS Education (Science-Technology-Society), Sociology of Science, Technology and Technoscience and Teacher Training, Pierre Bourdieu's Sociology in research in Science Education; and technoscientific controversies.
