Stéphanie Rochetti do Amaral

Graduated in Bioprocess Engineering and Biotechnology from Universidade Estadual Paulista "Júlio de Mesquita Filho" (UNESP), Araraquara Campus (2016 - 2020). She undertook Scientific Initiation (2017-2021) in the area of nanotechnology applied to the development and characterisation of nanocarriers with possible application as a drug, evaluating their joint action with Photodynamic Therapy (PDT) in different tumour cell lines. She is currently doing an Academic Master's degree (2021 - 2023) in the Pharmaceutical Sciences programme - Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences (UNESP) - Department of Bioprocess Engineering and Biotechnology, in the area of Drug Development with a focus on photosensitive nanomaterials, modulation of the inflammatory process and photodynamic therapy under the guidance of Prof. Dr. Fernando Lucas Primo. She has a scientific collaboration with Professor Liam M. Grover - University of Birmingham, where she carried out an internship in the development of a 3D skin model. Experience in nanomedicine applied to photobioprocesses, development and analysis of polymeric nanomaterials, in vitro photobiological assays, modulation of inflammatory processes, photoprocesses and photodynamic therapy.
