Birthplace: Brazil

Undergraduate student in Science and Technology at ILUM/CNPEM and Computer Technician from IFES. Works in bioinformatics, metagenomics, and materials physics. At LNBR/CNPEM, develops a reproducible pipeline to benchmark binning tools across short-, long-read, and hybrid datasets, validating with standard metrics (CheckM2, GUNC) to recover rare microbial genomes and support bioprospecting. Conducted research in materials physics (advisor: Prof. Adalberto Fazzio) and a protein-prediction project presented at the CNPEM Students Congress (advisor: Leandro Lemos). In high school, led a research project on the impacts of Covid-19 on local industry, resulting in an international publication. 3rd place at the Latinoware Hackathon. Experience with Python, Linux, HPC, data organization, and reproducible/FAIR pipelines.
