Lee graduated in medicine 1986 from the School of Medicine of the Federal University of São Paulo (UNIFESP) and did the medical residency in psychiatry with emphasis in childhood and adolescence psychiatry (1987-1989) at the Institute of Psychiatry of the University of São Paulo Paulo (IPq-USP ). She had been Professor of Psychology School at the Methodist University of São Paulo (UMESP) from 1999 to 2000. She completed PhD in 1999 from the Department of Psychiatry at the Faculty of Medicine of the University of São Paulo. Since 1989 works as Senior Psychiatrist Supervisor at the Institute of Psychiatry of the Medical School of the University of São Paulo (HCFMUSP). In 1996 created the Child and Adolescent Affective Disorders Treatment Program (PRATA-IPq). To date, has personally supervised residents and medical assistants at the PRATA-IPq clinic and IPQ-HCFMUSP Children's Day Hospital. Has experience in diagnostic investigation, treatment strategy planning and clinical treatment in all areas of mental health for children and adolescents, with emphasis on emotional and mood disorders with onset in childhood and adolescence.
