Veterinary doctor graduated from the Federal University of Pelotas (UFPEL). Experience in wild and exotic animals medicine, small animals medicine, veterinary anatomic pathology and veterinary molecular biology, focused on wild and exotic animals infectious diseases. Current FUSP scholarship holder in the Epidemiology and One Health postgraduate program at the University of São Paulo (USP), developing the master's project "Neotropical bats as potential reservoirs of Hantavirus and Arenavirus: an evolutionary and eco-epidemiological analysis" and in collaboration with the project "Epidemiological, evolutionary and ecological analysis of spillover events risks from bats viruses living in the Atlantic Forest", carried out at the Institut Pasteur de São Paulo.
