She holds a Master's degree in Public Health from the same institution, with the dissertation "Serum Creatinine on Admission as an Independent Predictor of In-Hospital Mortality in Brazilian Patients with Heart Failure." She holds a degree in Health Services Management (UFMG), specializing in Quality Management and Use of Technology in Health Services, and an MBA in Public Institution Management from IFRO.
