He has a MASTER´S PROGRAM IN THE ENERGY AREA (INTERDISCIPLINARY ENERGY SYSTEMS PLANNING AREA - UNICAMP, 1995), with a master's thesis addressing the development and economic feasibility analysis of low-cost solar technology. From the research in the master's degree, he patented the developed technology at the National Institute of Industrial Property - INPI, as a co-inventor. SPECIALIST IN ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGEMENT (UNICAMP, 1997), with final course work on solid waste management, health and sustainability. He graduated from UNESP (1990), with the development of scientific initiation on low impact energy generation (run-of-the-mill technology in a small hydroelectric plant, in mechanical engineering.) He has complementary courses in PERMACULTURE, with emphasis on: Permaculture Planning Course (PDC) by the Instituto de Permacultura da Mata Atlântica - IPEMA), Design of Ecovillages with Johan van Lengen of the Institute of Intuitive Technology and Bioarchitecture (TIBA), Housing Construction Ecological (TIBA), among others. He expanded his training in Environmental Management with: Course on Quality Management of Surface Water Resources (CETESB); Special Services Payment Course (ITA-Redevale), Urban Environmental Management Course (Oficina Municipal Escola e Cidadania), Complete Urban Tree Planting Course (Plant Care). Experience with research in technical-scientific cooperation projects between companies and universities: UNICAMP and CPFL, UFBA and PETROBRAS. He chaired the Association of Graduate Students at Unicamp and was a member of the University Council and the Graduate Commission of that university. He also had experience in the private sector at two multinationals, as a manager in people management, including 4 months of immersion abroad (China). Administrative experience in the area of Environmental Management, as Municipal Secretary of Environment of Cruzeiro (SP), Director of Environmental Management and Head of the Division of Environmental Education (São José dos Campos). He continues to work at the São José dos Campos Department of Urbanism and Sustainability, where he develops an extension project with UNESP and UNIFESP, entitled ?Sustainable School?, including the implementation of selective collection and composting in Municipal Schools. He coordinates the Sustainable Rural Sanitation Program, with the implantation of ecological pits (Evapotranspiration Tank) in the Rio do Peixe Basin in 200 single-family units (project approved and financed by a notice from the National Water Agency). He is a member of the Municipal Sanitation Council and the APA Council of São Francisco Xavier. He is the interlocutor of São José dos Campos in the Programa VerdeAzul Municipality, of the State Secretariat of Infrastructure and Environment (SIMA).
