The researcher has a bachelor degree in Chemistry with assignments in biotechnology from the University of Sao Paulo in 2009, During the years of 2008 and 2009, has worked as Scientific Initiation intern in Structural Biology Laboratory with a scholarship from FAPESP. He is currently a Ph.D. student in the Department of Biochemistry of the Institute of Chemistry at University of São Paulo, developing the study of the mechanism of action of toxins Sticholysins by using synthetic peptides of the N-terminal region of toxins. Between the months of October 2013 and October 2014 he has worked as an exchange Ph.D. student in the laboratory of Prof. Dr. Håvard Jenssen at Roskilde University, Denmark. On that occasion, received a CAPES scholarship by the Science Without Borders program. Awarded as a scientific initiation intern in Semana da Química (Week of Chemistry) and Alunos na Ciência (Students in Science) events, both organized by the Institute of Chemistry at University of São Paulo, and as a Ph.D. student at the III Latin American Graduate Program of Biophysics by SBBF / IUPAB / ICSU. Has experience in the area of peptides and proteins, and model membranes, and knowledge in spectroscopic techniques such as Circular Dichroism, Fluorescence and Electron Paramagnetic Resonance. Has intermediate knowledge in Molecular Biology and the techniques involved as cloning, expression and purification of recombinant proteins. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
