Graduated in Veterinary Medicine from the Federal Rural University of Rio de Janeiro (2005), she completed a Residency Program in Large Animal Internal Medicine at the Governador Laudo Natel Veterinary Hospital, FCAV, UNESP, Jaboticabal (2006-2008); earned a master's degree in Veterinary Internal Medicine (2008-2010), with a dissertation entitled "Evaluation of Passive Immunity Transfer in Calves from Canchim Breed Cows," and defended her Ph.D. in Veterinary Internal Medicine (2010-2013), with a thesis entitled "Passive Immunity Transfer from Holstein Cows Immunized and Non-Immunized Against Rotavirus to Their Calves." Served as a substitute professor for the disciplines of Veterinary Semiology, Clinics I, and Clinics II at FMVZ, Unesp, Botucatu (SP) from 2016 to 2019. From 2019 to 2023, she was a titular professor at Vila Velha University (ES), teaching Veterinary Semiology of Large Animals and Large Animal Clinic III, as well as contributing to the Animal Science Graduate Program. She is currently an assistant professor in Ruminant Internal Medicine at FCAV, Unesp, Jaboticabal Campus. She is also involved in university outreach through the Papo de Veterinária YouTube channel (youtube.com/papodeveterinaria) and the podcast of the same name (podpage.com/papo-de-veterinaria), where she showcases the various aspects of veterinary medicine through a series of interviews with professionals from different fields.
