Erick Galani Maziero

He currently serves as a Machine Learning Scientist at Overjet, Inc. He was a professor at the Federal University of Lavras (UFLA), holds a Ph.D. from the University of São Paulo (USP) under the supervision of Dr. Thiago A.S. Pardo. He also holds a bachelor's and master's degree from the same university and did an internship abroad (sandwich doctorate) at the University of Toronto (UofT)-Canada, under the supervision of Professor Ph.D. Graeme Hirst. Since 2006 he has been engaged in academic research on topics related to the semantic-discursive level of natural language processing using machine learning techniques. He has worked professionally at B2W Digital, the largest e-commerce company in Latin America, developing solutions with Machine Learning and Computational Linguistics. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
