Associate Professor, Lecturer at the Department of Maternal-Child and Psychiatric Nursing at the USP School of Nursing (EEUSP). Graduated in Nursing (1985), Master in Pediatric Nursing (1995) and PhD in Nursing (2001), from EEUSP. She has experience in Nursing, with an emphasis on child health, working in teaching, research and university extension, mainly in the following topics: promotion of health and child development, essential needs of children and care in nursing and health. She is the leader of the research group Health Care and Promotion of Child Development, in which she directs research on health education and technologies for the care and promotion of the development of children and families; systematization of Nursing Care, with a focus on promoting health and child development; and the child's vulnerability to adverse developmental situations.
