Mariana Piva da Silva

I am a biologist and master in applied ecology by ESALQ / USP, and a PhD in environmental sciences by Lancaster University. In the last year, I have worked as a postdoctoral fellow at the Odysseia / INCT Odissea Project Observatory of the dynamics of interactions between societies and their environments. My academic trajectory involved areas such as ecology, anthropology, sociology and sustainability. Recently I have been working on issues involving: human migration in the Amazon, state and citizenship, quality of life and well-being, family farming, citizen science and social movements.
