Liã Bárbara Arruda

Bachelor of Sciences in Biology and Biotechnology from Universidade do Vale do Itajaí (2007), Master 2010) and Doctorate (2014) degrees in Tropical Medicine and International Health from the Institute of Tropical Medicine of the University of São Paulo. Currently, she is Education Developer at the Wellcome Connecting Science working on capacity development to tackle (re-)emerging infectious diseases in low-and-middle-income countires. Teaching experience includes organising and delivering courses in Molecular Biology and supervision of undergraduate and graduate students. She also has experience in developing social learning courses on Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs) platforms.
