Luísa Valentini

Bachelor's degree in Social Sciences from the University of São Paulo (2007). Obtained Master's and Doctoral degrees in Social Anthropology through the Graduate Program in Social Anthropology at the Faculty of Philosophy, Languages and Literature, and Human Sciences at the University of São Paulo (USP). Focuses on issues concerning documentation related to traditional populations in Brazil, particularly documentation derived from research. Has experience in Anthropology, with emphasis on Ethnology, Anthropological Theory, and History of Anthropology. Author of the book "A Laboratory of Anthropology: The Meeting Between Mário de Andrade, Dina Dreyfus and Claude Lévi-Strauss" (FAPESP/Alameda 2013). Editorial coordinator of the Indigenous World collection by Hedra Publishing House (São Paulo). Associate researcher at the Center for Amerindian Studies at USP (CEstA-USP) and at the Research Program on Indigenous Peoples of Northeastern Brazil at UFBA (PINEB-UFBA).
