Gustavo Takeshy Taniguti

Has a bachelor's degree in Social Sciences (2007) from the Federal University of São Carlos (UFSCar), also has a Master's Degree (2010) and a Doctorate (2015) in Sociology from the University of São Paulo (USP), with a doctoral internship (Visiting Student Research Collaborator) at Department of Sociology, Princeton University, United States (2014). Has concluded a postdoctorate reserach at the Department of Sociology, University of São Paulo, with an internship abroad (Chercheur Invité) at the Center de Recherche sur le Brésil Colonial et Contemporain, from École des Hautes Études en Sciences Sociales (EHESS) in Paris, France. Since 2011 is a regional editor of the Global Dialogue magazine, published by the International Sociological Association (ISA). Has experience in the field of Sociology, with an emphasis on sociology of work, economic sociology, migratory studies and the history of social sciences in Brazil. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
