Daniel de Paiva Silva

I am a Bachelor in Biological Sciences by the Universidade Federal de Viçosa - UFV (2007), hold a Master's Degree in Ecology by the Universidade Estadual de Campinas - UNICAMP (2010), and a Doctorate in Ecology and Evolution by the Universidade Federal de Goiás - UFG. I have experience in the fields of quantitative ecology, landscape ecology, tri-trophic interactions, and species distribution modelling, with studies mainly focused on the biology and ecology of bees, dragonflies and damselflies, and insects in general. CUrrently I am a professor at the Instituto Federal Goiano, campus Urutaí. Current, I am an associate editor in the following journals: PLoS One (2018- ), PeerJ (2020- ), Biodiversity Data journal (2021-), Nature Conservation (2021-), Journal of Insect Conservation (2023-), and Ecology and Evolution (2023-).
