Marcia Cristina Zago Novaretti

Graduated in Medicine from the University of Santo Amaro (1981), specialization in public health (1985), medical residency in pediatrics and pediatric hematology. Fellowship at the New England Medical Center, Tufts University, Boston, USA (1992-1993) and PhD in Medicine (Hematology and Hemotherapy) at the University of São Paulo (1995). She was Head of the Immunematology Division of Pró-Sangue Hemocentro Foundation of São Paulo (1994-2011). Coordinator of transfusion services of Cancer Institute of State of São Paulo (05/2009 to 10/2011). Specialist in hematology and hemotherapy. She has been working as a medical and health teacher at undergraduate level (since 1985) graduated (lato and stricto sensus since 1995). Experience in organizing scientific events from small to large, national and international ones. Experience in training of multiprofessional teams since 1989. Experience in teaching methods focused on the student as an active element in the learning process. Participation in national and international committees and commissions in medicine. Marcia develops and leads partnerships with US universities for academic and scientific exchange (Central Michigan University, Suffolk University, Georgetown University). Fluent English written and spoken. Se has been acting as medical reviewer of national and international scientific journals in the areas of medical education, health, public health, medicine, innovation and health administration; leader of research group; author of several scientific articles published in national and international journals. She was Assistant Professor at School of Medicine, University of São Paulo, Department of Internal Medicine (Hematology) until May 2012; Professor of Hematology, Uninove since 2012.Professor of Administration, Professional Master's Degree in Health Systems, Uninove since 2013. Director of the Professional Master of Management in Health Systems since June 2015.Editor of Journal of Management in Systems of Health from 2014 to 2018. She develops researches in the areas of health management, especially in strategic management of health services and patient safety.
