Professor in the Department of Geography and the Graduate Program in Geography at the State University of Maringá (UEM). Holds a bachelor's degree in Geography from the State University of Western Paraná (UNIOESTE), Marechal Cândido Rondon campus (2004), a master's degree in Regional Development and Agribusiness from UNIOESTE, Toledo campus (2007), and a PhD in Geography (Human Geography) from São Paulo State University (UNESP), Presidente Prudente campus (2012). Completed a doctoral internship in Geography at the Institute of Geography and Spatial Planning (IGOT), University of Lisbon, Portugal (2011). Also completed a postdoctoral fellowship in Economic Geography at UNESP in Presidente Prudente (2016). A researcher in the Research Group on the Production of Space and Regional Redefinitions (GAsPERR), the Research Network on Intermediary Cities (ReCiMe), the Urban Observatory, and the Group for Studies and Research on Society, Environment, and Geotechnologies (GEPAG). Has experience in Geography, with an emphasis on Economic and Regional Geography, focusing primarily on the following topics: the spatial dimension of productive restructuring, processes of urbanization and urban agglomeration in inland Brazil, and the use of geotechnologies in teaching and research.
