I am a medical specialist in Pain Medicine and Anesthesiology, certified by the Brazilian Medical Association and the Brazilian Society of Anesthesiology (CREMESP 156.161 - RQE - 75.251), with a degree from Hospital Israelita Albert Einstein. With extensive experience in anesthesiology and pain therapy, I am an active member of several medical societies, including the Brazilian Society of Anesthesiology (SBA), the Society of Anesthesiology of the State of São Paulo (SAESP), the Brazilian Society for the Study of Pain (SBED), and the Brazilian Society of Interventional Pain Physicians (SOBRAMID).Education:Master of Medical Sciences from the Faculty of Medical Sciences at UNICAMP (Degree awarded in August 2019).Medical degree from UNICAMP - University of Campinas - Faculty of Medical Sciences (Class of 2012).Medical Residency in Anesthesiology, also at UNICAMP, from 2013 to 2015.Professional Experience:Coordinator of the anesthesiology department at Unimed Campinas Hospital.Responsible for the Pain Medicine Training and Education Center (CTTDor) of the São Paulo Group, accredited by the Brazilian Society of Anesthesiology (SBA). In this role, I oversee and manage the training of pain therapy specialists.Specialized in Pain Medicine, with a focus on treating chronic and challenging pain conditions, as well as spinal cord stimulation. I provide courses for specialists in neurosurgery, orthopedics, and anesthesiology.Certified instructor in Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) and a medical intervenor for the Hortolândia-Sumaré regional Mobile Emergency Care Service (SAMU) from 2013 to 2017.Academic and Research Involvement:During my training at UNICAMP, I engaged in various aspects of the healthcare network in the Campinas Metropolitan Region (RMC), from primary care to specialized centers, including the University Hospital of UNICAMP, the State Hospital of Sumaré (HES), the Dr. José Aristodemo Pinotti Hospital (formerly CAISM - Center for Comprehensive Women's Health), the Hemocenter, and the Gastrocenter at UNICAMP.I contributed to research projects, particularly in the areas of experimental surgery, head and neck surgery, trauma surgery, and anesthesiology. My research has been published in internationally recognized journals available on PubMed.com, under the authorship of Zen Junior JH. I have also presented my scientific work at national and international conferences and obtained funding for my research from FAPESP (São Paulo Research Foundation) and the National Council for Scientific and Technological Development (CNPq) through the Institutional Program for Scientific Initiation Scholarships (PIBIC).During my Master's in Medical Sciences at the Faculty of Medical Sciences at UNICAMP, I furthered my expertise in pedagogy and systematic reviews.Community Involvement:I contributed to the organization of various scientific events and conferences. I participated in university extension projects, including the P.A.R.T.Y Program (Prevent Alcohol and Risk-Related Trauma in Youth), aimed at preventing trauma and alcohol-related incidents in young individuals, conducted by the Trauma Surgery Department at UNICAMP.I served as a student representative and resident physician representative on governance bodies, such as the Higher Council of the University Hospital of UNICAMP and the Teaching and Graduation Committee of the Faculty of Medical Sciences. Additionally, I represented the 45th class of Medicine students at UNICAMP and the resident physicians at the Faculty of Medical Sciences' Congregation.Continuing Education:I have invested in my ongoing education, completing various extracurricular courses in the field of emergency medicine, including Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) certification (where I became a certified instructor), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
