He has a certificate of habilitation and qualification with the CBCD in Oncological Surgery of the Digestive System and Bariatric Surgery. He is a Member of the Brazilian College of Digestive Surgery (CBCD); Member of the Brazilian College of Surgeons (CBC); Member of the Brazilian Society of Oncological Surgery (SBCO); Member of the International Society for Diseases of the Esophagus (ISDE); and Member of the Society for Surgery of the Alimentary Tract (SSAT). Formerly, he was a preceptor in the Surgery of Gastrointestinal Surgery at Hospital das Clínicas (USP) (2017-2018) and a professor in Evidence-Based Medicine at the Lusíada University Center (2020-2022).
