Associate Professor in the Department of Geography, Federal University of Minas Gerais (UFMG), and faculty member of the Graduate Program in Geography (PPGG/UFMG). Productivity Research Fellow, National Council for Scientific and Technological Development (CNPq, Level PQ/C). I hold a Bachelor's degree in Geography (2002) and a teaching degree in Geography (2007) from the University of Campinas (UNICAMP), a Masters degree in Geography (2005) from UNICAMP, and a Ph.D. in Geography (2013) from the University of São Paulo (USP). I completed a doctoral research internship (PDEE/CAPES) at the École des Hautes Études en Sciences Sociales (EHESS) in Paris (20112012). I am currently conducting postdoctoral research at the Department of Geography, University of São Paulo (FFLCH/USP, 20252026), and previously held a Junior Postdoctoral Fellowship (CNPq, 20142016) at UNICAMP. I was a visiting professor at the Universidad Nacional de Rosario (UNR Argentina) through the AUGM Program (2019).I coordinate the Terra Mundo Laboratory (Department of Geography, IGC/UFMG), the Observatory of Digital Platforms (OPD), and the research group [continente].Research areas: Space, globalization and mondialization, political geography, economic geography, urban geography, and the political economy of territory.Main research topics: Digital platforms, Uberization, innovation, intellectual property, informatization, and the digitalization of territory.
