Ricardo Sergio Couto de Almeida

He holds a degree in Dentistry from the State University of Londrina (02/2002), a Master's degree in Experimental Pathology from the State University of Londrina (08/2003), a PhD in Microbiology from the Friedrich Schiller Universität Jena, Germany (09/2008), Molecular Genetics from the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences of Ribeirão Preto, USP (02/2012), Improvement in Endodontics at INVICTO, Maringá - PR (09/2020) and Specialization in Endodontics at Endoloft, Maringá - PR (05/2023). He is currently Associate Professor A at the Department of Microbiology at the State University of Londrina, where he teaches General Microbiology, Oral Microbiology and Biosafety classes for the Dentistry course. Also, he advises Master's and Doctoral students in the Graduate Program in Microbiology at UEL. Additionally, he is on duty in the Endodontics area at the UEL Dental Specialties Center (CEO-UEL) and Coordinator of the Extension Projects "UM NOVO SORRISO" and "Home Care: Oral Hygiene for Bedridden Dependent Patients".
