Lívia Streit

BSc in Chemistry at Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul (2007), MSc. in Chemistry at Universidade Estadual de Campinas (2009) and PhD in Chemistry at Universidade Estadual de Campinas (2012). Postdoctoral studies (2012-2013) at Auburn University under the supervision of Dr. J. V. Ortiz. Mother of two, I was on maternity leave in 2014 and 2015. I was an associate professor (tenure-track) at the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry at the University of North Georgia (2017-2018) and am currently an associate professor at the Institute of Chemistry at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS). I have extensive experience in Computational and Theoretical Chemistry, working on the development and application of post-Hartree-Fock and QSAR methods and in Chemistry Education, especially in the development and implementation of active teaching strategies.
