I hold a degree in Animal Science from Iowa State University, Ames, IA, USA (1996), a Master's degree in Dairy and Poultry Sciences/Reproductive Physiology from the University of Florida, Gainesville, FL, USA (1999) and a PhD in Veterinary Science - Université de Montréal, St. Hyacinthe, QC, Canada (2006). I have conducted postdoctoral studies at the Royal Victoria Hospital/McGill University Health Centre, McGill University, Montreal, QC, Canada (2006-2009) in the area of epigenetic regulation of the development of oocytes/embryos, and at the Paulista Júlio de Mesquita Filho State University, UNESP, Jaboticabal-SP, (2010-2012) studying the epigenetic regulation of placental development in cattle. He worked as a researcher at In Vitro Brasil Ltda. from 2013 to 2018, studying improvements in the production of bovine IVF embryos and genetic evaluation of pre-implantation bovine embryos. In 2019, I founded the Sense Genomics Laboratory, offering genetic and genomic testing services. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
