Dr. Tassia Lopes Junqueira is a researcher and leader of the Industrial Technologies Group at the Brazilian Biorenewables National Laboratory (LNBR), part of the Brazilian Center for Research in Energy and Materials (CNPEM). She holds a PhD in Chemical Engineering from the State University of Campinas (Unicamp). Her work focuses on the sustainability assessment of technologies for renewable fuels, chemicals, and materials, with an emphasis on process design and techno-economic evaluation. Over the past 15 years, she has collaborated with research institutions, companies, and government agencies in Brazil and abroad, published over 50 works, contributed to book chapters, and registered two patents.
