Graduated in Animal Science from UNESP (2007) and Master's degree (2010) and PhD (2014) in Genetics and Animal Breeding from UNESP - Jaboticabal (2010). Part of the master's project was developed at Melbourne University, Australia and part of the doctoral project was developed at Harvard University, USA. MBA in Business Management from Fundação Getúlio Vargas (FGV). He worked for seven years in the life sciences market as an employee of Thermo Fisher Scientific. During this period, he worked for three years as a product specialist, training and solving customer problems using real time PCR and next generation sequencing (NGS) techniques. For two years he was responsible for the sales force effectiveness. During the following two years at Thermo Fisher, he was responsible for the market development of the company's largest business unit. Among other activities, he was responsible for new product launches, promotions, branding, discontinuations, event organization, internal training and adaptation of global marketing strategy to the Latin American market. Currently, he is responsible for Universo da Biologia Molecular, the largest educational platform about molecular biology in Brazil. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
