Dr. Isabel Porto da Silveira is a Cooperative Institute for Marine and Atmospheric Studies (CIMAS) Senior Research Associate at the Physical Oceanography Division (PhOD) of the Atlantic Oceanographic and Meteorological Laboratory in AOML's XBT and Glider Projects. As an Oceanographer with a master and a doctorate degrees in Atmospheric Sciences from the National Institute for Space Research (INPE- Brazil), her primary interests are air-sea interactions, ocean variability and global climate.
