Luís Guilherme Pereira Feitosa

Graduated in Pharmaceutical Biochemistry from the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences of Ribeirão Preto - University of São Paulo (FCFRP-USP) and holds a master's and doctorate in Natural and Synthetic Products from FCFRP-USP. Worked as a researcher in an RD startup in Analytical and Organic Chemistry, mainly in projects related to the analysis of natural products by LC-MS/MS and GC-MS, isolation, and structural elucidation of plant-derived metabolites, as well as the structural determination by NMR of drugs, impurities, and excipients. He also has experience in planning and executing RD and innovation projects developed in partnerships between universities and companies. During doctoral studies, taught the course "Use of Mass Spectrometry in Natural Products" at the National Institute of Amazonian Research (INPA), with an emphasis on the application of cheminformatics tools for the processing and interpretation of LC-MS/MS data. The researcher contributes as a reviewer for a national journal. The researcher has experience in Natural Products Chemistry, mainly in studies that use molecular networks (GNPS) for organizing MS/MS data and chemical characterization of metabolites; bioprospecting for active compounds in microorganisms; and applications of cheminformatics tools for optimizing annotations.
