I hold a PhD in Sciences (Ecology and Natural Resources) from the Graduate Program in Ecology and Natural Resources at the Federal University of São Carlos (PPGERN/UFSCar), with a sandwich period at the University of Liverpool, United Kingdom. I also hold a Masters degree in Ecology and a Bachelors degree in Biological Sciences from UFSCar. Currently, I am an Assistant Professor at the Federal University for Latin American Integration (UNILA) and Coordinator of the Graduate Program in Neotropical Biodiversity (PPGBN/UNILA). My research focuses on understanding the mechanisms of biological invasion and their impacts on ecosystems and environmental health, through field, greenhouse, and laboratory experiments. I have also dedicated myself to the interface between Ecology and One Health, with emphasis on index parameterization, experimental design, and data analysis.
