Holds a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Universidade Estadual Paulista Júlio de Mesquita Filho (UNESP), as well as a master's and doctoral degree in Petroleum Sciences and Engineering from Universidade Estadual de Campinas (UNICAMP). Completed a postdoctoral fellowship at the School of Mechanical Engineering at UNICAMP. Has experience in the field of Fluid Mechanics and Fluid Machinery, focusing primarily on the following topics: modeling of multiphase flow, performance and modeling of submersible centrifugal pumps operating with viscous fluids and gas-liquid and liquid-liquid two-phase flows, multiphase flow visualization techniques, flow of complex fluids, and hybrid modeling of production systems. Currently serves as Researcher II at the Center for Petroleum Studies (CEPETRO/UNICAMP) and is a member of the Artificial Lift and Flow Assurance (ALFA) research group, where he works as a researcher and project manager.
