Carlos Felipe da Conceição Pinto

Ph.D. in Linguistics from the Universidade Estadual de Campinas (2011). Currently I'm Professor with Tenure at Universidade Federal da Bahia (UFBA), accredited as a Master and Ph.D. Advisor in the Graduate Program in Language and Culture. I have experience Linguistics, with emphasis on Grammar/Syntax and Historical Linguistics. I lead the "Grupo de Estudios Gramaticales y Sociohistóricos del Español Fontanella de Weinberg" (UFBA /CNPq - https://fontanella.ufba.br/) and I Coordinate the Center of Studies on Verb Movement. President of the Associação de Professores de Espanhol do Estado da Bahia (APEEBA) 2013-2015, 2015-2017 and 2021-2023. Member of the Working Group on Grammatical Theory of ANPOLL, the Associação de Linguística e Filologia da América Latina (ALFAL), the Associação Brasileira de Hispanistas (ABH) and the Asociación de Historia de la Lengua Española (AHLE).
